CRESTON, Iowa - The Creston city council discussed their support for a housing development project in the up-town area of the city at it's latest meeting.
City Administrator Mike Taylor told KXCV/KRNW that a St. Louis company bought an old store front off of Maple Street, and plan on turning the abandoned building into housing.
The city council approve a tax credit application for the revitalization project. That application will now go to the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
